Sparta, with its classy set-up and scrumptious appetizers, and The Cottage, which served those amazing baked goods and other delicacies, both nominate the Hamilton Food Share. This organization runs hunger relief programs in the Hamilton community, supplying food items and storage to food banks and hot meal programs. Its food recovery program, which redirects surplus/unsellable goods from grocery stores to those in need, ensures that every $1 donated to the organization raises $10 worth of food. The pizza-makers of Michael G. DeGroote's 7th Birthday Party (at the Hollywood Walk of Fame) nominate the North Hamilton Children's Community Breakfast Club, which serves a nutritious breakfast to students in the North End each morning before school.
